I have come across William Guest born 1892 Normanton West Yorkshire to Noah Daniel Guest and Mary Bumby, according to an obituary he joined the K.R.R.C. in WW1 he served as a Captain and was badly wounded. I have tried ancestry and fmp but can't find any information on him, not having a regiment number is it s straw in a haystack to find anymore about him.

Re: William Guest
Yes that is him, after the war he went to Oxford and then taught English and History at a grammar school in Oxford until he retired in 1957.
