WW2 records- Leonard Whitehouse

Postby Silver surfer » Wed Oct 18, 2017 4:46 pm

Can anyone find info on Sapper Leonard Whitehouse reg no 2113203 who served in WW2? We have a photo of him in hot weather gear and believe he served in Africa or Beirut. He survived the war and went on to be a postie. Cant find anything about his war experience. He was born 1914 Dudley.

Have been away for a while so havent seen your posts. Len was born 1914, mother's maiden name Pearson and married Annie Pritchard 1940. Don't know why there are no service records for. Just for interest he was working at the Dudley rail depot in Castle Hill when the Black Panther shot and killed a guard there before he kidnapped Leslie Whittle and hid her in a drain!!
