D HART

"1914 - 1918 TO THE MEMORY OF THE MEN OF THIS DISTRICT WHO AT THE CALL OF DUTY LEFT ALL THAT WAS DEAR TO THEM, ENDURED HARDSHIPS, FACED DANGERS, AND FINALLY GAVE THEIR LIVES THAT OTHERS MIGHT LIVE IN FREEDOM. LET THOSE WHO COME AFTER SEE TO IT THAT THEIR NAMES SHALL NOT BE FORGOTTEN. 1939 - 1945".
Ray Griffiths has found the history of most of these men (and maybe women) but cannot find anything for D Hart. Was he male, killed or pow or survivor? Does anyone know anything? D could even be a second name. I think he got in touch with the only Harts I know i.e. Harts photography of Lye, but he didn't know of him.
I am wondering if he is in the 1939 register for Lye, Wollescote or Stourbridge area. Not sure which war he was in. It is a long shot but if someone could have a look there could be a small chance he can be found. Thanks
