In 1861 he turns up as an "inmate" at Brompton Barracks gillingham w the royal engineers...
first question...
Is there any way I can see his war record for this time?
secondly.. I cant see him in 1871... well not one Im sure is him... where the royal engineers abroad maybe in 1870s?
