Morning,

Having recently joined the forum I thought this was the most relevant area to inform users about my work with Redrosephotos.co.uk. Some of the photo's on this forum are fantastic and I'm sure like me you have lots of old photo's of those important to you that may have seen better days. At Redrosephotos we offer professional photo restoration at a reasonable price and being new to geneology side of things - no doubt I'll be learning alot from others on here - if any of you have any photo's you'd like repairing/restoring contact us on the website mentioning geneology uk and we'll do you a favourable discount.

For an example of our work, the photo of the little girl on our photo restoration page is from the 1940's and is my grandma Mrs Meek.

All the best.

Hope your offer proves fruitful

Do you have an 'after' restoration picture of Mrs Meek?

Evening,

if you roll the mouse over the damaged image on the photo restoration page you can see the restoration work.

However, to demonstrate I have attached both pictures here.

Here's another example of some recent restoration work we've done. The damaged photo is from the second world war and shows a man in the navy taking a rest in his hammock. As you can see the orignal photos is very badly damaged but we've restored the image completely.

http://www.redrosephotos.co.uk/photo-ed ... storation/ is the link if you'd like us to look at any of your old photos and we offer a free scanning service if you aren't able to scan the photos yourself.

Evening,

not been on for a while but for those interested please take a look at our new examples page.

The picture in the top right is an old photo of the River Liffey in Dublin, the picture next to that is my Grandfather as a child, the bottom left picture is a picture of a naval officer in his hammock during the second world war and the bottom right photo is an old damaged photo we restored of an aircraft carrier again from the second world war.

Evening,

One thing I haven't mentioned is that whilst I am a professional photo restorer I'm also passionate about history and old photos. So if there are any budding restorers out there who just want some guidance or tips I'm always available to pm, or email me through the website, and I'll happily assist where I can.

Kind regards

Brent
