To think it all started with a chance meeting on a genealogy forum
via mine and Gardeners William Rose! The ode beggar!

I got this daft idea in me head about how we all seemed to connect
didn't have a clue about genealogy met me coz Gardener who helped me big big time, mithered her to death  and Linell
I mentioned to Gardener that I had this idea about seeing how we all connected....had some other ideas too but
they were a bit daft... :P Gardener said ok how about a Tribal Pages site and she and I started it off as the founding members.

Then the rest as they say is History.

Lots and lots of folk have helped us those on and off the forum.
So from Gardener and I starting it off to it just mushrooming with the help of some fantastic seasoned
genealogists.

I just hope you have all enjoyed it.
I know I have but it is time to pass the baton and for the future Jo will be running it with me
without her help behind the scenes over the past 2 years I would have ended up more loopy than I am

I would like to see 6 key admins who can help Jo and I add stuff that gets posted on the forum
but we can look at that perhaps.
I don't want to close it at the end of the year But I cannot sustain the pace it has been going at.

So let's just tread water, see how it goes and have our lovely Celebration in July lots of drinky poos cake and more drink!
Sounds like a Plan eh!

Well done everyone involved in Black Country Connections it is time that these Black Country folk
be remembered cos without em we wouldn't be here.

Gone but not forgotten not whilst we remember them.

It's brilliant that we've made the 100,000!

Personally there have been a few of my lot who've connected up with others on the tree!

Doesn't seem that long ago that the 100,000 milsetone was achieved!
