Past Mayors of Halesowen

Hi Everyone,
I hope someone can help me on this quest.
My Grandfathers sister Celia Roberts born abt 1903 was married to Dai (David) Herbert who was Mayor of Halesowen when I was a child.
This was probably in the 1960's or 1970's.
If anyone has any information on them or when they were in office I would greatly appreciate it.

Hi Sally, he is listed in the History of Halesowen by Julian Hunt:-

1963 - David Charles Herbert - Labour - 25 Richmond Street - Employed at Stewarts and Lloyds.

There maybe some photo's in the 'Halesowen in Old Photographs' by David Eades. I have a couple of his books, there are lots of Civic Pictures in there. HTH Linell.
