I had relatives who lived in the 'Sandhouses', so I'm told. Does anyone know when these were demolished ? My dad thinks they were near the chapel. Or anything about the community in Wall Well in the 1800's

I have a picture of some of the old houses in Wall Well, my Willetts lived up there, not heard of the Sandstone ones though :?: There again there was a Quarry over in what is now Quarry Lane, so it would make sense that some of the stone was from there, I do know that Hasbury Methodist Church on the corner of Wall Well was made from the Quarry Stone.
