Bakers Fold

Postby Mabel » Sun May 07, 2017 1:09 pm

A lot of my relatives seem to have been living in Bakers Fold my maiden name is Baker. Is it on the 1841 census -how many families are living there. Where is it in Oldhill. A George Parsons nailer was living there in 1869 and the BC Bugle makes it sound a grim place. Bakers Griffiths Tibbitts all seem to be marrying each other and seem to be connected to Bakers Fold. I think Josiah Parsons who witnessed so many marriages at St Giles. was from there. Marriage Joseph Baker Elizabeth Tibbotts wit Josiah Parsons Samuel Tibbots.
