Bulls Bridge, Moxley

Postby snoopysue » Tue Mar 20, 2012 5:36 pm

I'm trying to find out more about Bulls Bridge and Bull Lane in Moxley.
I have Ralph Small who was the publican of Bulls Bridge Inn until his death in 1890. His will said that the lease was not to be sold, and after his death I have found evidence that his son in law Simeon Fellows (married to Elizabeth Small) was the publican at least until 1912 (Kelly's directory and 1901/1911 Census). I'd like to know what happened later. The pub is not mentioned in Kelly's directory for 1932 or 1940 when I check Moxley, neither can I find a pub of another name in Bull Lane.
I've also tried Google with no luck!
