This section is for all those who would like to delve into family history but unsure how or where to start.
Well start in here! Don't feel daft ask away!!
In this section we will try not to give you the answer, but will instead guide you as to how to find the answer yourself.
You only make that discovery once and part of the joy of family research is fitting that piece of the jigsaw in!
So may I ask all you experts to restrain yourselves from giving the answer direct, instead let's guide our newbies through the
"tricks of the trade".
This brings us to our next request, please do post any tips you may have to help our family history beginners with their research.
Also please do post on how to use the various online resources, eg IGI, Freebmd, wmbsgh, Census, etc etc.
Post your Tips as a seperate topic each time please makes it easier to read!
We all were new and confused at one time...some of us still are!
