Kdw helping in the BC section

Postby Northern Lass » Sat Dec 05, 2009 12:58 pm

Just to let you all know that Kdw aka Kaye is helping out as a mod
in the Black Country Genealogy section.

This will help me especially on the look ups as it is Kaye and I that normally go
to Dudley and do them.

She can now move stuff to and from the archived sections ie return posts to
the Black Country board for further discussion or when look up has been done.
Then fill in the BCC tree with the new info too.

So thanks Kaye for helping with this as the look ups and moving and posting them
take up a huge amount of time

I can twiddle me thumbs now!

Watch her Kaye this sounds more like managerial delegating than helping if you are not careful :!:

But seriously thank you both for all your hard work keeping things going!!

Ta Jo it gets her out and about cos she does nothing else all day

All good fun and we are very close now to the 40,000 mark!
can't believe it
39,887 ancestors in our tree!

I am sure lots on there connect with others on there
it is finding how to connect them up!
that is where the look ups are so important.
We can verify a hunch or a query and start filling in the pieces to this giant jigsaw!

Thanks Jo
Like NL says i have nothing to do all day apart from looking after my mother, going to work, doing the housework when i get home, then seeing to hubby when he comes home.
To think i started this a a little hobby now its taken over my life.

Just like to add my bit......
I remember when NL first started the BCC tree, she would go to the archives once a week to do a few look ups 8)
It moved on from that to a couple of times a week :-)
As the tree began to grow bigger, so did the connections
More and more requests for look ups were being added to the list
In came Kdw (a saviour!) this meant there was no need for NL to move in permanently at the archives :?

So thankyou Kaye, we do appreciate your help!

mmmmm...some might have preferred the archive option
