Eurovision Ukraine entry

Post by Northern Lass »

I don't watch the Euro but wanted to see what the winning song was like.

It was great!

Loved the folky bit, and although I hate rap loved the rap bit
plus the stage set looked like someones embroidery....a rich tapestry eh!

With everything that is going on in Ukraine it was wonderful to see
a tribute to their motherland and reflected the narrative at the moment.
A well deserved win.

12 points!

I always like it when there is some revamped folk music there.
And I thought it was fine that they won after the popular vote. Nice too that UK was ahead after the judges' voting. That guy put a lot of effort into his performance and also into promoting the song. Really good outcome.

Personally i thought Spain was the best. I could have watched err listened all night to them. Other than that i thought Serbia was very good. A beautiful song about washing socks and Australia was also very moving.
