At the beginning of Lockdown back in April last year i watched "Sopranos" series 1 and 2 which i'd picked up cheap at a Jumble Sale. I was hooked ! Watched it in a couple of weeks and now for series 3-6 whan i can afford to buy it on my pension. :( . Now i'm watching "Undercover"on Netflix a Dutch series about an undercover Agent infiltrating into the Dutch Mafia like Leonard Dicaprio did in "The Departed".

We've watched The Bridge twice now, really enjoyed it.

Other good ones are The Tunnel, English/French on a similar vein to The Bridge. The Valhalla Murders set in Iceland. Temple with Mark Strong - English version of Valkyrien (Norwegian). DNA.

BBC4 Saturday nights put on a lot of Scandi/Nordic programmes.

I have been watching a lot of foreign series on television including The Bridge and The Valhalla Murders. I have just started watching the last ever series of Spiral on BBC4 which is worth watching but would probably make more sense if you watched Series 1-7 all available on I player. The Walter Presents box sets on Channel 4 catch up are also good. I have recently watched Missing by the Lake and the sequel Killer by the Lake

We watched series 7 of Spiral, not realising there were 6 series before, so we are catching up on series 1 now. Thanks for the idea of the two new ones Frodo will take a look at those.

Don't you just love the word "series" rather than "season"

Series must be the latest popular terminology.
I am trying to end the evening with a series of some sort and deliberately not watching in advance if they've put the whole series on catch up in advance. I binge watched Spiral 7 last week to refresh my memory ahead of series 7. If you watch the earlier ones you will see how Fred Bianconi (TinTin) fits in.

It's always worth browsing Channel 4 catch y Drama and World Drama box sets if your short of something to watch.

Now watched Spiral series 1-7 and in the middle of series 8. No Judge Roban because of his forced retirement :( I really liked his character.

Ronan was my favourite character. I missed him in Series 8.
There was an outcry in France when Spiral ended so now they are filming a one off episode and they may do some sort of follow up series presumably without Laure and Gilou.

Ooh that's good news about a one off episode. Now that we're watching series 8 my other half is limiting me to only one episode a night :o

Who's Ronan?

Sorry Ronan is a typo, I meant Ronan. I loved the Huge, not sure what I feel about the new female one.

Sorry my autocorrect doesn't like my French. For Ronan read Roban. For Huge read Juge.
