Web Cam Funeral

Postby grangers14 » Sun Jun 21, 2020 6:39 pm

We sadly lost a wonderful friend of ours on Thursday.
His funeral will take place tomorrow via web cam.
Has anyone used this facility before? I have the link but not sure what to do?

I haven't Jo, a relation has and he said it wasn't as bad as he expected.
Sadly we didn't have this for my uncles funeral recently, although I'm not sure how I feel about it or if I could've done it on the day of the funeral.

Sorry to hear of your loss

My Uncle Fred sadly passed away last month and he was cremated beginning of this month ,By going to the website of the Funeral Directors, in this case Gaunts of Blackheath, and signing in with the Username and Login code given to me i was able to follow the Service . Not ideal of course but better than nothing in these strange times.

I didn't need any password or log in info. I just clicked the link.

It was live, could only see the Priest and Dean at the alter.

Strange...but shared the moments I suppose.

All very sad saying farewell this way. :(
