Now if they get their act together they could do something with this area

Like....stock it with the stuff that is flying off the shelf
Toilet Rolls
Fresh Food
Paracetemol
pasta
tins
etc. etc

They could Make these 2 areas a Corner Shop area1 for NHS and Key Workers and 1. for Elderley
Ticket service...so they must Queue
and prove age and job they do
But at least they have a chance of getting some stuff.

They could sort a collect service here for these groups with lists given in and collected later depending
on stock.

Bit like the old corner shop idea.

Supermarkets need to do a lot more to come up with ideas.

Good idea, all areas should be used.

What about people who can not go themselves? How could another person prove they are shopping for others?

There is click and collect for most supermarkets
That also then limits to what is in...like my shopping last week, not much came! :?

People just have to stop being greedy or panic buying!

Interesting meme doing the rounds on social media: One bottle of hand sanitiser £4, 2 bottles £95.
Currently investigating the Hillmans of Sussex.

Well that has told us all hasn't it!

Not quite a lockdown but near enuff.
And about time I think.

There needs to be more help right now before these announcements
with help for the older ones who don't do deliveries online or who can't get out to shops.

The Supermarkets should now I think close the stores on one day a week to all except the
Key workers...who can go in the morning ...and
Elderley who can go in afternoon.
Check ID's...none of that from the other day where those not entitled to the slots were gate crashing.
Those scenes at Dudley were disgusting!

These Hubs they talk about should have been set up weeks ago.
There are elderley out there that are frightened and lonely and need help.....NOW!

Boris needs to get his finger out!

It`l soon be the same here as in Italy or Spain Police breaking into houses finding sufferers dead in bed  That was enough warning last night for a mass stampede down the supermarkets for another clearout this morning

Well interesting day from my side.

Not done on line shopping before so tried Sainsburys....couldnt get on.
(Although ..could be me doing somat wrong there)

So tried Asda...got registered...then like the idiot I am just went shopping online at Asda.
Didn't think about getting a slot for delivery.
spent ages on shopping.
Then when I came to get a slot ...no slots until 14 April....and even then couldn't book as
slots after that date not released.

aaaaggggghhhhhh!! :o

So went to Sainsburys...

Really much better there....got some basics...like wine....
not the wine I want....but any port eh!!....although not great lover of Port!...hic!

Keep Calm and look at the positives.
Nature is free.
Wine looks nice in a really thin glass.
Crisps in a dish go nice with Wine.
Reading is good.
cheese and biscuits go nice with wine.
Birds are cute and fluffy.
Chinking glasses is a friendly thing to do.
And Genealogy brings us all together

I rely on Asda when my husband is away for shopping delivery...
They are normally very good.
Last week not much came
Not been able to book a delivery or click and collect.
I looked again today, had to wait in a queue to get on the site. Then then after numerous times sent back to the queue credit card not accepted?

I'm sure all are doing the best they can though! :)
