Very sad news yesterday, he will be greatly missed. I first had contact with him many years ago, when researching my Tromans family. It was a surprise to find he came from Richards Close and knew my ex, Len.

The photo posted in my FB Group, of Dennis in the 1960s, by Ian, do you know him Rob? Was he also from Richards Close?

I have paid tribute to Dennis on Black Country Connections
If anyone would like to write something and I can add it in notes on Black Country Connections please post your tribute that you would like to say here.
I still can't believe he is no longer here.
I went somewhere recently and found reference to one of Dennis and my Inetts and thought oh! I will
tell Dennis about this....but of course I can't.

Yes Jan, a lovely tribute!

Such a well travelled and knowledgeable man was 'Our Den', I too miss him so much, but we are very fortunate to have his blogs on this site and I will never tire of reading through them...RIP Dennis :(
