Was it just me, or has the forum been offline since last night and just come back on?

I had most of the day today to do things and couldn't get on. :roll:

But did have time to find some of my own family!

Not just you - the server fell over late last night. I gave it a reboot then, but found it had gone again by this morning

Further investigation resulted in the discovery that it had filled its disk with log files resulting from dubious network requests - most likely originating from the millions of virally infected machines online (aka botnets). The disk has been cleared and the firewall modified to discard this type of request, so hopefully it should be good to go again now :-)
