Strange phone calls

Postby mallosa » Mon Apr 26, 2021 7:00 pm

Has it happened to you?

It happened to me this morning, phone went & when I answered the person on the other end said "Is that Shirley?" I thought to myself ... ...I know that voice!
I said "Is that you ----? She said yes  I didn't mean to ring you I hadn't got my glasses on and must have pressed the wrong 'S'

Hmmm!! (plausible I suppose, my name being Sandra)
We haven't been in touch for ages and I think she just used that as an excuse  However it was well worth it, we had a good chat just like the old days

I remember everything!

But especially the one who isn't here anymore.

We however are still all here and going strong and it seems, having a new surge of life!

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
