I believe that the families in High Park 1841, William Worton and Mary and William Worton Bayonet Forger and his wife also a Mary, together with their children, are descendants of the children of Abraham & Eleanor.

Interesting reading Linell. You guys are all so quick at this! I found my Worton notes and my ancestor from B-ham was a Laeticia Worton, not Priscilla. :oops: Sounds similar I guess, which is probably what stuck in my head. Surname is spelled the same though, Worton, instead of Wharton etc.

Hi Rachel, I have been researching the Wortons of Cradley for years. The name can be spelt Wharton Whorton Worton or Warton, take your pick <LOL> Some of the Cradley Wortons ended up in Lye Old Swinford and Cradley Heath, others stayed put for generations.
