Hannah Alport 1860 West Bromwich Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
David Brindley 1860 West Bromwich Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
James Kendrick 1860 West Bromwich Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire

If Isabella was born to Priscilla before a marriage to Noah, that puts the marriage after 1834. If Noah jnr was born to the couple after their marriage, that puts the marriage before 1836. But then, Noah could have been born before the marriage too. :?

This is curious ... 2 extracted christenings for Noah, son of Noah and Priscilla:

NOAH KENDRICK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: About 15 FEB 1836 Old Swinford, Worcester, England

NOAH KENDERICK - International Genealogical Index
Gender: Male Christening: About 07 MAR 1841 Old Swinford, Worcester, England

1836 fits the age in the census of Noah jnr. But why the second christening - at the same place???

I see that there are Allports living next to Noah and Priscilla in 1881 and 1871 (lots of them).

Whoops, but this is the wrong Hannah. We already have the surname of James , son of Noah (Hobday). So I'm after the other Hannah. The Allport/Kendrick connection still could be relevant, I suppose. Likely the two Kendrick families that we have found are linked?

Is it possible Noah was born 1836 and christened 1841, the extracter person had it wrong.. there appears to be only 1 Noah Kendrick thru all the census's. All the census state born about 1836.

Nice one guys!

it is confusing with these 2 Kendricks here they are....

this is Rachels line- lets call this no 1
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... onnections

and this is the Noah line- lets call this no 2
http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =15246&g=1

So I am after a marriage for
kendricks no 2- the Noah and Priscilla and cannot see one.

I was after a marriage for no 1 kendricks James and Hannah but Di found this...
Hannah Allport 1860 West Bromwich Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
Hannah Alport 1860 West Bromwich Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
David Brindley 1860 West Bromwich Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire
James Kendrick 1860 West Bromwich Shropshire, Staffordshire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire

would that be the marriage...who is that David Brindly...nothing is coming up on bmsgh...

Just looked at this thread. I see they're all confusing you too. Can't seem to find marriages for a lot of my Kendricks but are we thinking the James and Hannah from my line is Hannah Allport?

I have found them in 71 and 91 as follows, and will add them to connections, just to make sure we are differentiating between the two families. (Don't know how, or if they are connected to each other yet?)

1871 Turners(?) Lane, Kingswinford
James Kendrick h 32 bricklayer oldswinford
Hannah K w 34 woodside
Ruth K daug 12 delph
Eliza K daug 9 oldswinford
Joseph K son 5 delph
Phoebe A K daug 3 kingswinford
Sebinah(?) K daug 1 kingswinford

1891 17 Churchfields Kidderminster
James Kendrick h 58 bricklayer stourbridge
Hannah K w 59 woodside
Julia A K 16 redoubler,worsted mill brierly hill
