This is a spin off from the Agnes unknown thread.....

I have this Samuel Mucklow Harris
parents are an Andrew Harris and Hannah mucklow (think she is a Mucklow)

SAMUEL MUCKLOW HARRIS
Christening: About 06 JUN 1802 Halesowen, Worcester,
Father: ANDREW HARRIS Mother: HANNAH
Messages:
Extracted birth

I need a marriage for Andrew Harris and Hannah
and
Andrews parents.

I think he could be a brother to the Benjamin Harris already on the site...here

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =411752150

notice that Abner has a brother called Andrew so the name is likely to be a bro to father Benjamin...

thanks Jimmy

I think that Andrew Harris and wife Hannah had kids ,,,,,,

Ann Harris mother of Eliza parsons who married Abner Harris
and
Andrew Harris father of Samuel Mucklow Harris who had dau Rebecca who ended up bearing kids of Abner Harris

So Eliza Parsons and Samuel Mucklow Harris were cousins and that is probably how Rebecca met her future partner

cant tie in Benjamin father of Abner ( think his parents may be a Joseph and Katherine..just a feeling on that with that name Catherine one of sibs of Abner)

The name Reuben for Benjamins kids is there too....ties in with hubby of Ann Harris.

Can anyone have a look at this and see what they think?
and where and if it ties in?
my ead has gone!

Hi NL, the witnesses to this Marriage are Rueben Parsons and Ann Harris, the entry for Hannah is Muckler as Jimmy has found on the IGI. HTH from linell.

Hi NL, I found these children for Andrew and Hannah:-
Joseph 1804
Benjamin 1809
Samuel 1794
Samuel Mucklow 1802
Rebekah 1792
Mary Ann 1799
Andrew 1807

I suppose the witness was Mary Ann? Best Wishes from linell.

Ok I am going in circles on this on....help!

I think that Rebecca Harris had parents Samuel Harris and Sarah.

REBECCA HARRIS
Christening: 13 MAR 1825 Halesowen, Worcester,
Father: SAMUEL HARRIS Mother: SARAH

Messages:
Extracted birth

I think it might well be Samuel Mucklow Harris bapt in 1802 parents Andrew Harris and Hannah Mucklow
but it could also be the one that someone else has on Ancestry bapt 1804 Rowley Regis parents Edward Harris and Hannah.

The fact that Samuel mucklows sibling is called Rebecca is a strong clue to it being the Mucklow one with parents Andrew and Hannah.

I found Rebecca on the 1841 census and Samuel father puts b RRegis and no middle name ie no mucklow.
Sibs include the name Hannah but then on both these bapts the mother is Hannah so no help there.

This tree on ances has Sarah as a Tromans, dau of Ruben Tromans and Abisha Parsons.

Can we work this back together and see if we can crack it ?

going to rename the thread too!

On the 1861 Cenus Samuel is living on Halesowen Rd RRegis.
He is living next door but one to a Benjamin Harris.
I think this is his brother.

BENJAMIN HARRIS
Christening: About 23 JUL 1809 Halesowen, Worcester,
Father: ANDREW HARRIS
Mother: HANNAH

Extracted birth

On the 1841 this Benjamin and Ruth are living near Reuben Tromans the father of Sarah Tromans who I believe married Samuel harris.

ANDREW HARRIS
HANNAH MUCKLER.
Marriage, 16 JAN 1792, Halesowen, Worcester
(witnesses were Reuben Parsons and Ann Harris) I think Ann is sister of Andrew

children for Andrew and Hannah:-
Joseph 1804
Benjamin 1809
Samuel 1794
Samuel Mucklow 1802
Rebekah 1792
Mary Ann 1799
Andrew 1807

I think that this links to an Andrew Harris (snr) and wife Hannah had kids ,,,,,,

Ann Harris b abt 1770 mother of Eliza parsons (b 1800) who married Abner Harris who ended up with Rebecca harris
and
Andrew Harris b abt 1770 husband of Hannah Mucklow-father of Samuel Mucklow Harris who had dau Rebecca who ended up bearing kids of Abner Harris

Ok most of this is now on Connections here....

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =798299164

I am going with Samuel being Samuel Mucklow Harris he would then be the cousin of Eliza parsons who married Abner Harris. I bet that is how Rebecca harris and Abner met. She was Samuels dau.

The names Mucklow kept coming up too.
I have detailed what I think in notes , any alternatives please do say.

I am now archiving this and going to run with Reuben Tromans in another topic.
So unless otherwise advised this topic will be moved to archived section...and jolly good riddance too! ..it has done me nut in!
