It appears that Mary Ann Brettle, lodger, aged 18 unmarried, is the mother of 2 illeitimate children and there is another Mary Ann aged 20, also unmarried, as Daughter of Nancy. Did they put Mary Ann down twice?

Did this look up for Benjamin Brettell and Susannah Grainger

I don't feel it is yet confirmed whether he did actually marry Susannah Grainger prior to Nancy Hardman.
However I am not going to waste the information so I am putting them both down on Connections with notes re Benjamin.

There are hundreds of Brettells in Halesowen and I have spent hours trying to sort out all the families with names that I have collected from parish records. Linell has your Charles 1839 got a sister Kitty (Catherine ) bap 1/5/1836 no father m 8/10/1854 at St Thomas Dudley to George Hadley?

Hi Everbody,
I have been trawling through my notes and have found two burials I have taken from St Johns Halesowen parish records. If these are Benjamin and Susannah I was wrong saying he was married before he married Nancy Hardiman. What do you think, are there two Benjamins of a similar age?
Microfiche 126/5 Vol 22
no3348 Benjamin Brettell buried 27/3/1847 age 67
no 3228 Susannah Brettell buried 2/5/1847 age 67
