Think I would have preferred COCKSHED LANE had my Gr Gr DINGLEY Grandfather living with one of his sons and had the families of two other sons on the same street in 1841. The families were still there in 1851.

However, since ISLINGTON in 1851 is the street, I have two puzzles on that street for you all. A SMART family with an Anne DINGLEY age 7 living with them, and a DINGLEY family which I haven’t been able to connect to my tree.

The Dingley Family
DINGLEY,Thomas, HD, 31 nail maker, b. Halesowen.;
Frances, Wife, 29, b. Halesowen;
John, Son ,4, b.Halesowen;
Mary, Dau, 2, b Halesowen;
John, Father, 72 Nail maker, b. Haystich, Wor. (They were still there in 1861)

The Smart Family
SMART, Edward, HD, 34, nail maker, b. Halesowen;
Sarah, Wife, 30, b. Ipswich, SFK,
Thomas, Son, 10, nail maker, b. Halesowen;
George Son 6 Scholar, b. Halesowen;
Edward Son 4 b. Halesowen;
Sarah Ann Dau. 2 b. Halesowen;
Mary LG, UM, 55 Pauper/ nail maker b. Halesowen;
Ellen, LG U, 16, b. Halesowen;
DINGLEY, Anne, niece, 7, b. Halesowen

My ancestor Joseph Hall is at the Islington Hotel in Islington Halesowen in 1851, so they probably knew each other.

Ok I think that Ann Dingley is the dau of Thomas Dingley and Fanny Smart.
And Fanny must be Edwards sister.
So how do these lot link in to any other Dingleys?

marriage here
1841
DINGLEY Thomas SMART Fanny Halesowen, St John the Baptist Dudley Register Office 014/001/279

and a bapt here - submitted
Ann Dingley Birth: 29 APR 1844 Halesowen, Worcester,

Christening:
Death: 23 JAN 1920 Marseilles, La Salle, Illinois

Burial: 25 JAN 1920 Marseilles, La Salle, Illinois
Father: Thomas Dingley
Mother: Frances Smart
Ann married- Spouse: Abel Moore
Marriage: 29 APR 1867 Parish Church,Halesowen,Wrchs, , ,

1867
DINGLEY Ann MOORE Abel Halesowen, St John the Baptist Dudley Register Office 014/003/276

so we need to find Fanny or Frances Smart with the parents Joseph and Mary and a brother Edward Smart

and the 2 marriages would confirm the fathers details the Edward and Sarah and the Thomas and Fanny.
