That looks good to me there is this marriage as you say

I can look that up.

So can we link Darbys to this lot and tie in Coles.
I am adding this to Connections it looks good enuff to me and will confirm via a marriage look up but good enuff to carry on running with.

I think that the wife of Samuel is a Mary Tibbetts!
and there is a marriage at Handsworth in 1835 which fits with a child of Wiliam being born 1837.

they are on the census in 1861 and 1851
Living next door to Edwin Tibbetts son of John Tibbetts and Lucy Williams (remember the crow inn)
But their dau a mary ann marries a John Raybould so not that Mary.

this mary I think is the dau of William Tibbetts and Mary Maria Burley
which I think links back to the Tibbetts - Thomas Major tibbetts grandfather.

then
Thomas Darby son of Mary and Samuel is cousin to Thomas major tibbetts son of Thomas (bro of Mary)
So ...
Ann E darby is 1st cousin once removed to her husband Thomas major
so her and her kids are 1st cousins once removed too each other....or have I lost it!
So Mary Tibbetts is the aunt of Thomas m Tibbetts
and Ann darby is the Grand dau of Mary

Got them! and it ties in really really well with Mary Tibbetts being the dau of Wm tibbetts and Mary maria Burley!

cos....her sister Susannah Tibbetts is with her so that sorts it for me!
