St Lukes Cradley Heath (Reddal Hill)

Postby Northern Lass » Fri Nov 21, 2008 2:53 pm

I did not realise that some baptisms for Cradley heath are on the IGI.

I had previously checked Hugh Wallis and not seen it on there.

Then I stumbled across this source/batch no C018264

http://www.familysearch.org/eng/search/ ... _form=true

now that is for baptisms

How can we check if marriages and burials for Cradley heath are on there?

Hi NL,

There is also this one for Rowley Regis, Batch Number: M019223 for marriages, which is not on Hugh Wallis.
Just trying to do my bit for BCC, bringing families back together.

If they have added some records it might be worth searching again for my Bate clan who were here around 1850ish

Can you use the IGI search and select a parish as a filter or one of the references mentioned above? I have never searched this way before?

Thanks Jimmy- I am going to add that info you have given to the Look up offers info as it is really helpful we now have a Clent one, a Cradley heath one and this RRegis one...

Carol that is what I wondered :?

I dont see how you can filter it and sort by parish unless you go via Hughs site and if it isnt on there how does one do it?

I bet if the bapts are on the marriages are on.

we need to test it with a marriage
so best way is to go via wmbmsgh and get a cradley heath earlyish marriage.

or via here....

http://uk-transcriptions.accessgenealog ... 0Heath.htm
Do you think?
and then see if it is on IGI

same I suppose with the burials, use the mI's for cradley heath

A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
