Hi all, Mumbles has added Sarah Wellings born 1858 RR to BCC. Think she is one of mine, daughter of George Wellings and Sarah Green? There are 11 siblings in all, Emma Wellings born 1860 Married my Thomas Haynes, Uncle of my Grandfather. Just wanted confirmation before I add it to BCC, best wishes from linell.

Hi Peter and Linell,
I added Sarah Wellings as John Hipkiss is on my direct Hipkiss line.
I have all details of Thomas Haynes and Emma Wellings and children. Also details of George and Sarah Green parents of
Sarah and Emma were sisters and they had other siblings :- Levi who married Lucy Johnson, Mary, Elizabeth,Silva, George,Samuel who married Sarah Elizabeth Taylor and Joseph Wellings born 1868 who broke out of the mould of Miners, Nailers and ironworkers and became a Methodist minister. He married Eva Rachel Yates who was daughter of Samuel Pardoe Yates who Owned/Managed Axminster?Wilton Carpet Factory in Wilton Wiltshire. The Yates family evolved from lowly beginnings in Kidderminster and eventually ended up in a large mansion in London with servants.
I have full details of these families.
If you already have details you might as well go ahead and insert and I will add on and fill any gaps.

Hi, Linell,
John Hipkiss who married Sarah Wellings was brother of Elizabeth Hipkiss who married Joseph Brookes who was my great grandfather so we must be very distant cousins. The Hipkiss and Brookes family are already inserted so you should be able to see connection.
I will wait for you but will insert John Hipkiss and Sarah Wellings children.

Hi Linell,
Joseph Wellings married Eva Rachel Yates in September quartile of 1899 Fulham , Middlesex
in 1891 Joseph was a lodger in Lincolnshire ( Methodist Preacher)
and in 1901 he and Eva lived in Winchester Hampshire
Eva and family were born in Wilton Wiltshire and sister Amy married a Edmund Rawlings solicitor and son of a Methodist Minister
Samuel Pardoe Yates Eva's father was Carpet Factory Manager and he married a Rachel Mapp born Birmingham who was a domestic servant living away from home in 1851 and in 1901
was living in London , Fulham , Hammersmith with Edmund and Amy and noted as a retired Carpet Factory Manufacturer
Eva's sister Laura worked as a Supervisor in Carpet Factory and in 1901 is living in London . Hampstead and noted as Carpet Manufacturer.
Samuel Pardoe Yates died young and some of children were sent away to private school in Yorkshire. You can Google Samuel and find out a lot more as he stood for Parliament and was a local dignitary.
His father Samuel Yates was a weaver from Kidderminster and obviously migrated to Wilton as did many Weavers from Kidderminster when a new Carpet Manufacturing Process was made.
I have a 37 page doc. showing all these details and a lot more and can forward if you send a private message with e-mail details
Also in doc. are some details of Levi Wellings born 1852 who emigrated to USA about 1878 with his wife Lucy .
