*Archived* Daniel Tromans C 1803 and Sarah willetts

Postby suki » Mon Oct 27, 2008 4:50 pm

Just wondered whether anyone has any connection with another Tromans in my family. Daniel Tromans(Trueman) widdower born about 1803 who married Sara Willetts widdow St Giles 13/10/1864
Parents likely to be David Trueman and Martha Robinson. I think I found him on the census with his first wife - occupation a Carter - but have lost those notes. Time is running out for the Tromans

How weird is this 1847 marriage

1847
TROMANS Daniel ROLINSON Sarah Dudley, St Edmund Dudley Register Office 201/001/150

that was his ma's name!
Rolinson ( I have spelt it Rollason on the site to aid searching and only havin one variant- but on the marriage of ma and pa it was Rolinson)

Hi again,
I am a very sloppy note taker but have now found on a scrap of paper
Daniel Trueman
1851 wife Nancy - carter
then
Village 1861 wife Nancy carter
Nancy's death pos. 1864
there are quite a few Daniels so it quites easy to make mistakes don't want to mess up the Tree.
Interesting your marriage.

Hi Suki go with your notes.

I wonder if that Daniel is the son of Daniel and Nancy?
I can look up that marriage at archives...

Can anyone find this couple Daniel and Nancy on 1851/61 to confirm her age ?
as is she really 60!!

or a marriage for Daniel and Nancy.

or a Daniel Tromans and a Sarah on later census he might be b abt 1827?

TIME IS REALLY RUNNING OUT FOR THE TROMANS

Yes, looking at the original image for 1851, it certainly seems to say that Nancy is 60. Also, I think this is them in '61:
At Rowley Village,
Daniel Tromans Head 57 Carter/Ag Labourer
Nancy Tromans Wife 68
both born Rowley Regis
Some mistakes are too much fun
to only make once.
