Jimmy, I had sorted out that 1851 census in the earlier thread.

Ann is Sarah's oldest daughter who married John Clempson.

All of the Bradfords and Hannah Pitt are her siblings.

Hannah Bradford's husband. William Pitt, died just before John Pitt was born.

I have been tracing Ann and the Clempsons for the last couple of hours.

I will put the results up once I have finished.

Ann was known under both Stanley and Bradford as she was born before her parents marriage.

Since Sarah Stanley claims to be a spinster on her marriage we must assume the John Stanley mentioned is John Bradford.

Unless there is some inter family breeding and since these are my direct line.....I would hope not

That is the correct marriage for Thomas and Margaretta.

As well as being a miner, Thomas also owned an Inn.

The 1851 census is a good one as it gives clues to other branches.

County: Staffordshire

CLEMPSON, Thomas Head Married M 61 1790 Licenced Vitueller & Miner Broseley Salop
CLEMPSON, Margret Wife Married F 62 1789 Broseley Salop
CLEMPSON, Enoch Son Unmarried M 23 1828 Pudler Of Iron Sedgley Staffordshire
BENNETT, Harriot Servant Unmarried F 14 1837 General Servant Broseley Salop
JUCKS, Thomas Grand Son M 8 1843 Bilston Staffordshire
BREEZE, Margret Niece F 9 1842 Chebsey Salop
