Hi Di yes the William on Connections is correct... :wink:

I did the marriage look up and put the details all on under John Applebys notes.

So yes William is the father and not Thomas.
William and Joseph bros
and Thomas is the father
sorted!

I will update the tree.

Thanks Di you are a star! xx

Just entering all this..... :shock:

I have a couple of queries on the bapts for William and Joseph as the ages on the census dont really tie in.

1.bapt Wm 1822 and Joseph 1824
but on census coming out at ....
Wm - 1851=b1827
and 1861=b1824

Joseph 1851= b1827
1861=b1827
1881=b1827
:?

I have put father as Thomas and Mother Mary unknown as it is deffo the father but are these the bapts...
IGI Extracted: There are these children christened at Presbyterian Church, Oldbury By Halesowen, Shropshire, parents Thomas Hackett and Mary:
ANNE HACKETT Christening: 28 FEB 1820
WILLIAM HACKETT Christening: 15 SEP 1822
JOSEPH HACKETT Christening: 28 MAR 1824
HANNAH HACKETT Christening: 08 JAN 1827
THOMAS HACKETT Christening: 26 AUG 1832
SARAH HACKETT Christening: 15 JUN 1834

wot do we think on this lot of bapts being linked to this Thomas and mary?
I have put them on under Mary unknown notes .....but want advice please

that leads me to this next query..

2.There is an entry on BCC for a Thomas and dau Hannah Hackett b 1824 - I think they may be the same as this Thomas and Marys Hannah although her bapt is later 1827...link info is here

http://bcconnections.tribalpages.com/tr ... =312445914

need to confirm if our Thomas snr actually married a Mary somebody.....then perhaps that hannah may be one and the same...although still concerned about the Wm and Joseph bapt dates moreso the Joseph one- as that is very consistent as b 1827 yet bapt 1824 :shock:
I think 2 families.....

anyone see them on the 1841 census please
