Here's a challenge for us ... As a result of a contact via GenesReunited, I've been chasing up 2 Joseph ROSEs, both born about 1865, Rowley Regis.

I think they are cousins. One has parents Moses and Maria (on BCC). The others parents are Joseph and Mary (I think Joseph ROSE and Mary WESTWOOD on BCC).

One married an Agnes, and one married an 'Etta' (Henrietta perhaps?).

But which is which?

Sometimes it is just creepy!!!

Here was I chasing up a Rose connection seemingly totally unnconnected to the Johnson/Dingley thread which popped up around the same time ...

and now it seems that the Etta Johnson that one of my Joseph Roses married is the daughter of Henry Johnson and Rosannah Johnson who in 1861 are living 2 doors from Joseph Johnson, the father of Matilda Johnson who married Edward Dingley. and the mother of Matilda is Ann ROSE?

I need to get my head around the connection between all these people - or has someone already got there? Must check BCC. Off there right now!!!
