THOMAS MORRIS
Spouse: MARY WORTON
Marriage: 07 JUN 1836 Sedgley, Stafford, Extracted

I wonder if this is the marriage for Thomas Morris and Mary.
On the 1871 she is living with Job and Margaret and puts down looks like Sedgley.
On the 1861 she is with husband thomas and puts down Gornal.
Eldest child is b abt 1838 on that census.
So this would fit.

As regards the other one James Clift and Elizabeth ?

cant see a marriage that fits.

On the 1861 census they are living Warley Wigon Quinton Staffs area
with the head being a John Clift age 27 farmer so this might be an elder son of James and Elizabeth.

they put down b warley wigon worcs so not sure if it came under staffs or worcs
census got staffs on.

Ok found James Clift on the 1851 and 1841 with wife Elizabeth.
Eldest child is a Joseph b abt 1831maybe bit earlier 1827 age 20 on there and ages rounded down.

So cant see a marriage on IGI.

Maybe the best idea if no marriage or no inlaws is to get the birth certif of one of the kids which will have the mothers maiden name on.

1851 living at Cakemore worcs
1841 living at Oldbury H/owen worcs ( looks like overend )

and again with the Morris ones the certif would confirm the maiden name of mother Mary.
