Can't see Thomas and Sarah George in 1871 either and I've tried all sorts of combinations. The transcriber must have done something really weird with their names or they moved to another country - a possibility since Thomas was a coal miner. Although I've searched in Wales & Scotland too.

I was interested in the visitor who was with them in 1891 and 1901 - Jane Ann - who seems to have changed her surname from hill to Smith between ages 3 and 13.

1901
At 85 Park Lane, Oldbury
Thomas George Head 54 ...sman (Hewer) in Coal Mine Wolverhampton, Staffs
Sarah George Wife 54 Wolverhampton, Staffordshire
John George Son 30 ...sman (Hewer) in Coal Mine Wolverhampton, Staffs
Joseph George Son 17 Labourer at Iron Works Oldbury, Worcs
Harry J George Son 14 Errand Boy (Port?) Oldbury, Worcs
Sarah George Daur 11 Oldbury, Worcestershire
Annie Gibbs Relative (married daur?) 21 Oldbury, Worcestershire
Henry Gibbs 4 months Oldbury, Worcestershire
John T Gibbs Relative 1 year Oldbury, Worcestershire
Jane Ann Smith Visitor 13 Wolverhampton, Staffordshire

1891
At Court No.1, Park St., Oldbury
Thomas George 43 Coal Miner Wolverhampton, Staffordshire
Sarah George 44 Wolverhampton, Staffordshire
John George 21 Coal Miner Wolverhampton, Staffordshire
Thomas George 19 Stoker at Brickyard Wolverhampton, Staffordshire
Isaac George 16 Coal Miner Wolverhampton, Staffordshire
Mary George 13 Oldbury
Annie George 10 Oldbury
Joseph George 7 Oldbury
Harry George 4 Oldbury
Sarah Jane George 1 Oldbury
Jane Ann Hill Visitor 3 Wolverhampton

I've looked on Find my Past and there not even on that site or Brook road 1861 census
Found them on ancestry and when you look on the census there is water damage  so sorry about mix up
it is such a shame that the census must have been damaged as a lot of mystery's might have been solved.

tried looking for a george thomas or thomason might have thought it was surname instead of first name ?
A person should have an opinion on everything, It becomes tact whether you reveal that opinion or not.
