Im trying to link the Upton family to the Brassington family.

Nellie Josephine Brassington’s sister we think married an Upton.
I’ve found that Esther Norah Brassington married Cornelius Whitney

And Alice Janet Brassington married John Nicklin.
Could an Upton be a 2nd marriage to either?

Joseph Cox Upton is related somehow as we have a newspaper article of him (Black Country Bugle 25 Oct 2007)
He married a Fanny Taylor
Joseph was the licensee of The Royal Exchange pub at 13 Church St, Dudley.
They held a passport in 1926 age 60

They had sons named Tom and Uriah and a daughter named Fanny who emigrated to Canada
