Divorce Cases , Drink and Separation and Bigamy
In the Divorce Court Mr Enoch Reed an Old Hill ( Staffs.) Shackle Maker obtained a divorce after 9 years of marriage , there were 5 children of marriage.
The wife in recent years had given way to drink which resulted in quarrels and a separation ,an agreement was patched up and marital relations resumed but in 1897 there was a final separation and a bigamous marriage on part of respondent with a man named Chadwick
