There was duplicates and missing information on the Allen family. I have changed that now. That info was previously added kdw, not you missed it.

Yes maybe Brassington was her married name being as her son in the article is known as Paul Brassington and the story-teller is Paul’s daughter.

Thank you for your help

I’ve ordered Sylvia’s birth certificate to see if there is a fathers name.

I’ve found out that Sylvia lived with her mother and grandmother Lucy Attwell when she was born in Waterloo St. Tipton.

When she was 10 her mother Louie married George Phillips a gardener and they lived in Sedgley.

A yr later Sylvia moved back to live with her Nan Lucy.

Sylvia had 2 half brothers Kenneth and Ronald who were George’s.

Not sure where Codsall is in the story

I ordered Sylvia Attwell’s birth certificate and they haven’t been able to find it. What does this mean? Was her birth registered?

Also added Sylvias birth here https://www.tribalpages.com/tribe/brows ... =655854366

Can this now be archived ?

Start seperate threads for Halls and Plants please as it gets a bit confusing.
