Henry Field married Elizabeth Beach. is from previous thread
and I have traced Elizabeth family and her parents married
25/5/1845 St. George Birmingham Warks.
James Beach bach. Gun Barrel Filer Cecil Street father Thomas Beach Cordwainer
Sarah Oxford Sp. Cecil Street father Thomas Oxford Labourer
Witnesses :- Joseph Cook & Matilda Bullock
This ties up with Census records But children of James and Sarah are all registered as mother Hawkeswood, Hawkswood or Hawkesford
Is this because when registration took place Black Country accent sounded like Hawkesford instead of Oxford ?
