As you have mentioned Northern Lass there is another Moses Shaw.
Moses Shaw bp.1773 in St. Thomas, Dudley parents Aaron and Susanna. I believe this Moses married Sarah Walker in 1796. There were three daughters Rhoda bp.1799, Sarah bp.1801 and Kerenhappuch bp.1803 all baptised in St. Thomas, Dudley. Possible death in 1814.
I can see the similarities but I am almost sure that these two Moses are different people one married Sarah Walker and the other Sarah Griffin. Unless Moses married twice.
Is there any reference on the baptism records, for the three daughters, as to the occupation of Moses born in 1773?
Thank you.

I can't find these on BMD. Can you advise please where I should look to find them? The first just comes up as SHAW William Edward (without the COOKE)1872 Wakefield and the second COOKE, Mary Ann (without the NELMS). Also John COOK or NELMS? I can see John and Mary Ann Cook in 1861 with their father William living in the household of Ann Nelms (spelt Nelins) aged 51. Can you please explain as I'm quite confused?
You've written:
There is this birth but unsure if correct one
SHAW William Edward COOK 1872 Wakefield Wakefield WFD/43/37
Also in 1861 there is a Mary Ann Cook age 8
COOKE, MARY ANN NELMS
GRO Reference: 1853 M Quarter in DUDLEY Volume 06C Page 113
John aslo has MMN as Nelms, I cannot find brths for Henry or Elizabeth.
