This is the John who marries Jane davies isnt it?
that fits with his dob on 1851...
that is who I thought it was so father is a John a butcher or blacksmith...didnt they do both sort of jobs like that.

that prev marriage to Ann i think is our John who goes onto marry Jane davies

the fanny birth is throwing us but if we change that to ....???
then it works.

as you say where is fanny in 1871
