I have been doing some work on the Round family in Dudley to which my wife is linked. I noted that there is not much information about Jabez Edward Frederick Round, son of Samuel Round and Hannah Holt, on Black Country Connections, so I though I'd post here what I have found out so far with the thought that some kind sould mught like to add it to what's already there.

Jabez did marry twice, but his first wife, Sarah Ann died less than a year after they were married. Their son, Samuel Frederick died in the same year, 1875. I suspect that Sarah died in childbirth as her death and Samuel's birth registration are both in the same quarter. I have a copy of Jabez' wedding certificate to Christina Walton which states that when he and Christina married he was a widower, that his first wife died in 1875, and there was one child, but no children still living.
