I think it is a mistake.

The only marriage for a Joseph Ward to a Sarah Ward is this one,

Joseph Ward
Gender: Male
Marital status: Single
Marriage Date: 26 May 1817
Marriage Place: Calverley Parish, West Riding, York, England
Spouse: Sarah Ward
FHL Film Number: 1040929
Reference ID: it2 p158
