Postby plumtree » Fri Jul 17, 2020 10:15 am

Hello i'm new.
I was attempting to trace my paternal grandfather's line and discovered that it had been researched already on BCC. I was forwarded to this forum whereupon i discovered my great grandparents Joseph and Lucy Taylor nee Tibbetts tree was completed and archived back in 2011.This was all amazing. I had used the information known to me, my grandparents Joseph Taylor and Agatha Taylor nee Bloomer were married in 1923 and lived at 79 Birch Avenue in Quarry Bank where i was born. I am the daughter of their youngest child Wesley George Alan, (know as Alan) I didn't know Joseph came from Rowley Regis until i Saw the 1911 census where he was living at 146 Dudley road with his siblings. Agatha was a chainmaker until her marriage, as were her entire family, they are both buried in the Victoria rd cemetry Quarry Bank (somehere). If there is anyone on this forum connected to this branch of the tree i would like to know as i am interested in researching any siblings, many thanks

Hello :)

Looking on BCC it doesn't look like any members here are connected? People have researched it though.

Perhaps put your family surnames in the Surname interests section?

I have updated the information here on BCC - https://www.tribalpages.com/tribe/brows ... =950399858

Those other Links don't work due to the changeover some time ago but all's well now

Thank you for your posts.

A big thank you to the person who took the photo of my great grandparents gravestone. I intend to go and see that .
It is not Bloore , definatley not, thanks for trying. I don't have my grandparents marriage certificate but i do have the 1911 census showing the family etc. I have researched my grandmothers line so i know the information given here is correct. I would love to find their grave but Victoria road cemetery is not mapped and is in a terrible state of neglect so i guess i won't ever find it.

I will post under surnames of interest as suggested. many thanks.
