Street Names of Stourbridge & Its Vicinity by H. Jack Haden 1999

Ridgeway Avenue, Quinton, is the name of a short length of road (from the S.W. side runs a short cul-de-sac) extending from Hagley Road to the junction of Spies Lane and College Road at which point the M5 passed overhead. This name is recorded on the Dudley Metropolitan Borough street map published early in the 1980s but on the revised map of February 1989 the road is named Ridgeacre Road which is the name of the road that continues along the N. edge of The Green over the Quinton Expressway and links with a double-carriageway that leaves the Hagley Road and curves S. and E. to a district called Ridgeway which was intensely developed with housing after WWII.
