Beatrice still was alive in 1939, living with Halls and a Jessie Wagg, female.

I haven’t seen a divorce between Beatrice and Albert, but I have seen one much later in 1935 between Minnie Lavinia and Albert. Then he married again, to a Eunice.

I tried explaining it to my husband, and when I got to the bit about Albert marrying the mother of his sister’s husband he said “You’re just making it up now!”

BTW I think Jesse Barker born 1891 would be easier to find if he was in BCC as Jesse Barker rather than Amos Jesse Barker. I know GRO have him as Amos Jesse, but on everything else he is just Jesse, and he would be less like to be confused with his brother Amos if he in as Jesse Barker.

We normally go with what the Gro have him (that is what I used to do) but a note could be added to bcc known as such and such.
