That was quick grangers. Wonder where Elizabeth is. She was the widow of Jason Homer with a maiden name Harris. So who are the Hacketts?

Looks like it was Dorothy Homer who married James T Hackett in 1937...
I've been looking for Elizabeth but not come across her yet.

This thread also connects to this thread, with the Dean and Pitt families

I'll put all the info you, jimmy and myself have found onto BCC as it's a shame for it all to go to waste. Jo, could you please put on the subject lines that I'll be adding to BCC please? Thanks

Death Date:3 Oct 1918
Death Place:France and Flanders
Enlistment Place:Old Hill, Staffs
Rank:Private

On the register of personal effects it says wife Elizabeth.

When John Pugh (1886-1958) was demobbed he wrote to the army to give a change of address ie. 66 Beehive St Graingers Lane Cradley Heath. Johns marriage to Elizabeth Homer, widow, in 1920 gives her address as 66 Beehive St, her father Roland Harris.

The only other info I have of Jason is in the censuses.
