There are 120 Wyle on BCC and 80 While and a number of Wilde but I thought protocol was to put surname registered under.
Some of Wyle on bcc are quite obviously While and some Changed in mid 19th Century from While to Wyle and vice versa . Please advise as I think protocol should stand with notes when surname changed Please Advise

That is true to a certain extent.
So if you look at the homepage and scroll down you will see whe have put what to put them under
when it is a surname that could be many different spellings.
eg Tromans is always Tromans...you can put in notes what it is regiestered as.
The reason for this is simple..to make sure that we don't have multiple spellings and so multiple entries of the same person.
So WYLE check WHILE too...this one we will use both the spellings and hope people check both
too many for us to change to one spelling at the moment.
.WILDE not WILD, WYLDE
put in notes what it has been registered as.

Ok so can you fix the duplication?
And as we are using While and Wyle you can use either one of these.
So Henry can be While or Wyle which ever he is registered as.

All seems to point to While...
11th December 1836. St John the Baptist, Halesowen
William While, B, OTP
Sarah Brookes, S, OTP
Witnesses, Joseph Brookes, George G Fiddian
