Hello!!

Right now I am working on family ties to Rowley Regis.

John HACKETT B.1808 & Jane HILL B. 1811. I am trying to find their parentage.

These are the ancestors I am concentrating on at present.
If anyone can help I would be most greatful. I am more than willing to share all the information
I have regarding these people I have listed and others in our tree just let me know how I can help YOU!!

on 1851 a Timothy 1829 possibly a brother for Joseph is next door to Joseph Hill b abt 1821

I think that Timothys (snr) brother is a Benjamin
Benjamin is father I think to Joseph Hill( who Jane is living with in 1851
also in that house in 1841 with parents Benjamin and Ann there is a sonTimothy (he is I think next door to Joseph Hill on the 1851 census)
and a dau Mary Hill...

I am just throwing these in to kick around.....need census info etc...

Something doesn't quite fit on the Joseph and Timmothy line.

I think the Jane Hill and parents looks good.

But on the 1851 in the abode before Joseph is a family of Priests and they have 2 inmates with them

Timmothy Hill inmate b abt 1829 age 22

thinking about it I wonder if these are a different family to the Benjamin and Ann and kids in 1841 (as posted above)

I have this bapt here...submitted but interesting...did Jane Hill have 2 kids pre marriage in 1829?

or is it just a census guess by someone.

Also looked up some Baps for the children of Benjamin Hill and Ann, Mary Ann 12.10.1828 H/O Ben and Ann Old Hill Collier, Timothy 26.12.1824 H/O Ben and Ann Rowley Collier, Benjamin 16.8.1835 H/O Ben and Ann Miner Rowley. Marriage for Benjamin Hill bach otp and Ann Williams sp otp 29.7.1821 H/O the Witnesses were George Fiddian and Timothy ? Must be Timothy Hill a brother Cannot find a bap for Joseph who was aged 18 in Ben and Ann's household New Street 1841 So Benjamin Snr born about 1801 had a brother or cousin Timothy who was a Witness at Benjamin's Marriage to Ann Williams. Sorry NL this isn't helping to find Jane Hill, just trying to get some background as who belongs to who. linell.

Hi NL, Timothy and Maria seem to have all daughters except for a Samuel born 1823. There's Mary 1804, Anna 1804, Elizabeth 1806, Mary 1801, Jane 1809. Could be some more children I suppose Baptised somewhere else or not at all

that connects possibly Janes parents ie father Timothy to this Benjamin as a witness at the marriage.
Joseph fits b abt 1821 to that family in 1841
but Timmothy's age is out on the 1851 and
no John with that 1841 lot

wonder if they could be Janes kids
named after her father for Timothy
and John husband.
