I was wondering if anyone could help me expand my search on my Hadley ancestors because I'm well and truly .
I have managed to trace my Great Great Great Grandfather William Hadley born abt 1826 Rowley Regis who married Harriet born abt 1827 Halesowen. I know William's mother was Sarah Hadley born abt 1782 Rowley Regis but she is a widow on the 1841 census so no idea who her husband was. William is living with his mother and a Benjamin born abt 1829 Rowley Regis on the 1841 census.
I can't find the following:
William and Harriet marriage date, place and Harriet's surname but I think they would have been married from 1842-1846 prob' St Giles church Rowley Regis (William and Harriet's first born Joseph born Rowley Regis abt 1847).
I've no idea who William's father was or any of his siblings (except Benjamin).
I'm pretty certain the records would be held at St Giles church in Rowley Regis because on the 1841 census they were living near Mincing Lane which is situated in Rowley Regis village near St Gile's church.
I have found this information from the census but I'm what to do next.
Does anyone have information on parish births marriages and deaths at St Giles church in Rowley Regis prior 1837.
It would be fantastic if anyone could help me.
Kind regards
Adrian
