Hi everyone,

I have recently discovered this forum via BCC while researching my surname Parsons. (Or should it be Littley?? )

I'm from NZ and moved to the UK 20 years ago with the only knowledge of my ancestors going back a couple of generations in Birkenhead.

Since I caught the genealogy bug recently it has been brilliant to learn that I have inadvertently come back to my Parsons roots as I now live in Lichfield, Staffs a stones throw from where the name traces back to.

My Parsons branch from Birkenhead is missing from BCC, so I'm hoping for starters to get that added if I can be pointed in the right direction.

Many thanks all. By branch I suppose I could mean a small offshoot compared to the whole size of it all on BCC. But my grandfather is missing from his family listed there so an important branch for me
I'll drop a line in the BC area.
