Hi everyone,

I have recently discovered this forum via BCC while researching my surname Parsons. (Or should it be Littley?? :? )

I'm from NZ and moved to the UK 20 years ago with the only knowledge of my ancestors going back a couple of generations in Birkenhead.

Since I caught the genealogy bug recently it has been brilliant to learn that I have inadvertently come back to my Parsons roots as I now live in Lichfield, Staffs a stones throw from where the name traces back to.

My Parsons branch from Birkenhead is missing from BCC, so I'm hoping for starters to get that added if I can be pointed in the right direction.

OOh good a new branch....so Hi and welcome have a look in the Black Country Genealogy section
post what you need help on and we can help you
we might be able to add to the BCC tree some stuff time allowing. :wink:

Many thanks all. By branch I suppose I could mean a small offshoot compared to the whole size of it all on BCC. But my grandfather is missing from his family listed there so an important branch for me :-)
I'll drop a line in the BC area.
